Georgia Degitz
I have always had an interest in the arts. As a child my hands dabbled with paints, paper, brushes, scissors, glue, crayons, etcetera. My
vivid imagination led me to many interesting childhood games and my eyes were always alert for anything new that might pop up on my
nature jaunts.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, and a minor in Social Sciences from Central Methodist College, Fayette,
Missouri. My teaching degree was used to teach first grade, elementary reading, music, art, and physical education.

My children are grown and now I have time to pursue those things left behind from my childhood days. I particularly like to shoot
meaningful photographs that appeal to the heart and allow the viewer to create his own story.

My work is done with a 20 D and 50 D Canon digital cameras.
I process all my work in my shop. I hold membership with the Best of Missouri Hands, Hannibal Arts Council and River Arts Group.
I use an Epson Stylus R2400 for printing. Prices are uniform according to size.

Matted and ready to frame:
